Description

Dah Duh Dah Malvasia Emilia IGP by Podere Giardino Winery is a dry sparkling white wine. On the nose, the intense and fresh aromas of citrus fruits are immediately perceived, in particular grapefruit, which pleasantly invade the nostrils.

On the palate, the wine takes on citrus tones, but with darker notes and a subtle bitter finish, which makes it extremely pleasant to drink. The foam is rich and fine, while the deep and brilliant straw yellow color makes it a pleasure for the eyes too.

This wine is perfect to be enjoyed in combination with savory aperitifs, such as erbazzone, fried dumplings, and cured meats, but it also lends itself well to accompanying fresh cheeses and not too-aged Parmigiano Reggiano.

It is a delicious choice for pizza, hamburgers, and wraps. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 10°C to better appreciate all its characteristics. In short, “Dah Duh Dah” is a wine that captivates the senses with its freshness, its intense aromas, and its extremely pleasant drinkability.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Malvasia di Candia Aromatica.
VINIFICATION: crushing and destemming, contact with the skins for 24/36 hours with the cap still, racking by gravity, without pressing; spontaneous fermentation on its own lees; clarifications only through decanting, no filtrations; 1st fermentation in stainless steel, 2nd fermentation and aging in bottle for 12 months.
CHARACTERISTICS: rich and fine foam, citrus aromas, grapefruit, sweet; in the mouth, it resumes citrus tones with dark, finely bitter notes. Drink that kidnaps.
TERRITORY: Reggio Emilia high plain, Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
SOIL TYPE: loamy, clayey-sandy.
PRODUCTION METHOD: organic, reg. EC 848/18, reg. EC 203/12; Authorized certification body Mipaaf ITBIO 006, operator code H1912.
