Description
Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico 2016 is a red wine from Corte Bravi Winery born from a blend of three grapes from their respective vines: Corvinone, Corvina and Molinara Rossa.
LOCATION: Gargagnago, Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella (VR)
GRAPES VARIETY: 45% Corvinone, 40% Corvina, 15% Molinara Rossa
TRAINING SYSTEM: Pergola Veronese, with organic method
SOIL TYPE: mainly calcareous
AGING: in oak barrels
VINIFICATION: Hand-picked red grapes, selected in the vineyard to be left to dry for three months in wooden boxes. Once pressed, they are cold macerated for ten days, and then spontaneously start fermentation with indigenous yeasts. This is followed by a second hot maceration in order to extract the essence of these grapes to the maximum. Left to rest for three years in French oak barrels, it is then bottled without filtration in order to continue its refinement in the bottle
