Arianna Occhipinti’s Frappato BB is a red wine of great texture: juicy, sour and sanguine, a drink of extraordinary vivacity. Expression of frappato in the Bombolieri district, the most structured between sharp acidity and dense tannic texture. Frappato is Arianna’s wine par excellence, a wine that reflects her character and that tells the story of Vittoria’s territory in detail. To drink with your eyes closed, with a slice of fresh Ragusano caciocavallo in your hand, in search of pure enjoyment.

GRAPE VARIETY: Frappato di Vittoria.
SOIL TYPE: superficial layer of sand (25 cm), below very solid limestone rocks. Part of the district has a more clayey-calcareous soil, visually white.
EXTENSION OF THE VINEYARD: 2 ha approx – C / da Bombolieri.
TYPE OF PLANT: Sapling.
STRAINS DENSITY PER HA: 6,000.
AVERAGE AGE OF THE VINEYARD: 40 years.
AVERAGE PRODUCTION PER HA: 30 hl.
VINIFICATION AND AGING: destemming, maceration on the skins and spontaneous fermentation in 85 hl concrete vats for 25 days with daily pumping over and punching down. Racking and aging in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 22 months.
TOTAL SULFUR: 35 mg / l.
BOTTLES PRODUCED: 2.700.
FORMAT: 0.75 l.
