Making wine is an art. It demands flair, passion, experience. Our wine combines these essential elements. A rich history today combines with a love for the organic, for a result that is 100% natural.
From the end of the 19th century, great-grandfather Donnino used to breed diary cows for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano. The herd was quite small and complemented another activity that he loved very much, the cultivation of Lambrusco grapes. The combination of animal husbandry and viticulture has been handed down from father to son… Over time the farm has grown thanks to the contribution of each member of the Crotti family. First was grandfather Adolfo, then his son Bruno together with his wife Lella.
Since 2001 the grandchildren Marco, Paolo and Federica have been actively engaged in the family business, marrying tradition and innovation in the best possible way.
For over a century now, agriculture and smart animal husbandry have been developed together. Handed down for generations, this tradition is now achieving paying off by combining sustainability, quality, and innovation. This is how our wine was born.
Then as now, we use only natural organic fertilizers, because in our view respecting the land is the way to care for each other. Out collective future also depends on each of us.
The Crotti family seeks to rediscover the more authentic flavours of the past: their products promote the values which inspire their daily work. This is where their organic Lambrusco wine Suoli Cataldi was born, a PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin), 100% natural and refined.
