Cantina Giardino

The Cantina Giardino project was born in 1997 with the first garagiste vinifications which in 2003 were transformed into a real cellar. Always supporters of natural wine if not the promoters of the movement in Campania. Daniela and Antonio De Gruttola have recovered ancient vineyards scattered throughout the territory, saving them from the destruction of grubbing to give space to international vines and high yields. Today Cantina Giardino has about 7 hectares of vines in Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Coda di Volpe, all conducted in organic viticulture and with vines that reach up to 100 years of life. A set of indicative components also on the protection action aimed at preserving the exclusive assets of the place. All the vineyards, even those for rent, are organically grown, respecting the environmental balance and biodiversity. In the cellar, the fermentations are spontaneous, with more or less long macerations, for a line of wines that from the very first sip mark the link with the environment and the Irpinia territory. Neither clarifications nor filtrations are ever carried out.
